Engineer-Plant Maintenance

Facility: St Joseph Hospital Location: Bethpage, NY Department: Plant Operations Category: Service and Trade Schedule: Full Time, with Weekend and Holiday rotation Shift: Day shift Hours: 7am - 3pm; shifts variable ReqNum: 6009714

Verify and insure proper operations of all hospital equipment and systems. On call service during the shift to resolve all building related issues. Provide basic repairs of all hospital items and equipment relating to the building equipment and grounds. The maintenance engineer will also perform some repairs on mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment.

HS Diploma or equivalent required. Two to five years experience as a mainenance engineer required. Hospital experience preferred.
