Responsible for providing individualized and goal-directed nursing care to patients through the use of the nursing process. The nursing process includes assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. In the absences of the Assistant Head Nurse, the RN will assume the authority and responsibility for the operation of the nursing unit for a specific shift.

REQUIREMENTS: NYS RN License and Registration required. BSN required or proof of current enrollment in BSN program. BLS/ACLS/PALS Certifications required. Three years experience preferred in Emergency Department of an acute care facility required. Excellent communication skills, organizational skills required.
