Good Shepherd Hospice, a member of Catholic Health Services of Long Island, promotes the physical, emotional and spiritual well-being both of the person completing life's journey and their family members, providing comprehensive and compassionate end-of-life care of the highest quality. Catholic Home Care has been delivering care to people in their homes. Founded by the Congregation of the Infant Jesus, the sisters have provided care to the sick and dying without regard to a person's religion, race, gender or economic status. Despite the developments that have occurred over the years, the original commitment remains the same--from the moment the staff enter a home until the last contact with that patient, personnel will endeavor to offer the most comprehensive and compassionate health care available.

Our team of professionals, caregivers and trained volunteers are dedicated to providing both medical and emotional support to patients and families. Good Shepherd Hospice and Catholic Home Care employ more than 1000 staff members and provide care to over 3000 patients across Long Island and Queens.

The Associate Director of Clinical Education drives quality care for Catholic Home Care and Good Shepherd Hospice through evidenced basedstandards,educational programming, and customer feedback.Develops and implements agency clinical education programs for CHC and GSH.Responsible for ongoing staff education to meet regulatory compliance, orientation, competency.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing.Master's preferred.

Current and valid NY State license to practice as a Registered Nurse.

5 years' experience in home care, Performance Improvement and Education.Hospice experience a plus.

Strong computer and Electronic Medical Records skills.

Strong graphics and data analysis skills.

Excellent oral and presentation skills
