Anatomic Pathology Manager

The Anatomic Pathology Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, evaluation and supervision of all technical and/or operational activities and staff members in the Anatomic Pathology laboratory.

Responsibilities:

Consults with Administrative and Medical Directors regarding compliance with regulations and changes in test procedures

Oversees a wide variety of administrative, fiscal and technical activities to ensure the efficient operation of the department.

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university: Master of Science preferred

Must be licensed as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist under the NYS Department of Education

Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in all facets of Histology preferred

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as outstanding administrative capabilities essential

Knowledge of computer applications, particularly spreadsheets, graphs and other statistical and financial programming required with experience utilizing these tools in the Histology laboratory desirable.
