Catholic Health Services of Long Island (CHS) is an integrated health care delivery system with some of the region's finest health and human services agencies. CHS includes six hospitals, three skilled nursing facilities, a regional home nursing service, hospice and a multiservice, community-based agency for persons with special needs. Position Summary

In this role, the Talent Acquisition Manager will be responsible for the oversight of pipelining, recruiting, interviewing, and selection of qualified applicants for Catholic Health Services of Long Island. In this role the Manager will also supervise, train and develop staff within the team on an ongoing basis.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assists with overseeing the Talent Acquisition process and candidate experience for positions that are recruited for by the team.
  • Direct supervision of staff, as well as, provides support to the Vice President of Talent Acquisition in hiring, managing and training staff for the department.
  • Sources and recruits for leadership and CHS corporate positions.
  • Develop and implement programs to attract and target viable candidates.
  • Conducts audits and check-ins with recruiters to ensure services are being performed in a timely manner.
  • Monitor's team's performance and makes recommendations for change and efficiency
  • Collects and analyzes data to prepare reports to measure success rates for customer service, time to fill, trend data. Provides feedback with regards to the success rate of the team members. Manages projects independently. Oversees and approves the projects the team is working on to ensure that they are meeting their deadlines.
  • All other duties assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition of which at least 2 years must be in a supervisory role.
  • Corporate or Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Applicant Tracking Systems plus (Lawson, Healthcare Source preferred).
  • Effective oral written communication skills, as well as, consultative skills with the ability to understand the needs and urgency of assigned customer base are essential.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Must have experience in recruiting for leadership positions.
  • Master's Degree preferred.
