The talent acquisition specialist will deliver full life-cycle recruiting, utilizing their abilities to source, screen and prepare the most qualified candidates. To be successful in this role, the specialist should be able to develop long-term recruiting strategies and nurture trusting relationships with potential hires, hiring managers/clients and local HR Business Partners. Ensures a constant pipeline of qualified candidates working closely with clients on determining best recruiting strategies, forecasting staffing needs, and customizing skill and testing requirements. The specialist will maintain awareness of competitor practices, industry trends and be willing to be a Catholic Health Services (CHS) brand ambassador, understanding they are the public face of CHS, so they must ensure positive candidate experiences from the initial application to the final onboarding process.


  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3-5 years of progressively increasing responsibility within Healthcare Talent Acquisition
  • Social media savvy, especially as pertains to sourcing of talent. Experience using tools such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter
  • Applicant Tracking System experience required (Healthcare Source preferred), in addition to Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
