Catholic Health Services of Long Island (CHSLI) currently has full time opportunities for Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal or Family Medicine Physicians to join our community-based practices within Nassau and Suffolk Counties, New York.   

Catholic Health Services of Long Island is a fully integrated health system serving the communities of Long Island, NY.  Catholic Health Services (CHS) was designated a Top Workplace to work in 2018 by Newsday. CHS is comprised of 6 hospitals, 3 long term care facilities, a Home Care and Hospice agency, and a program for developmentally disabled individuals, CHSLI has over 17,000 employees and an operating budget in excess of $2B.  

Responsibilities include house calls, coverage of affiliated assisted living facilities, employee physicals and ambulatory support. Flexible hours are available.  

Requirements include: 

•    Board Certification/Board Eligible Internal or Family Medicine 
•    NYS MD/DO License 
•    Strong Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage at all levels of the organization to promote a culture of patient safety and participate in performance improvement
