Community Integration Special

The Community Inclusion Specialist will facilitate and take an active role in daily community integration outings, as well as coordinate the program's external special events throughout the year. This person will work closely with Program Management to assure all expectations are being met in regard to community integration.


  • High School Diploma/GED and four (4) years experience in the Human Services/or related field working with individuals diagnosed with intellectual disabilities, varying diagnosis or physically challenged individuals OR an Associate Degree in Human Services/or related field and one (1) year experience.
  • Strong presentation skills (i.e. good communication skills, both oral and written)
  • Maintains NYS Drivers' license within agency criteria
  • SCIP-R and AMAP required
  • Computer Literate
