Assistant Nurse Manager - Med/Surg

Facility: St Charles Hospital Location: Port Jefferson, NY Department: 3 E Surgical Category: Nursing / Nursing Leadership Schedule: Full Time Shift: Night shift Hours: 7p-7:30a ReqNum: 6006394 The ANCC is responsible for assisting the NCC in prescribing, delegating and coordinating nursing care activities of all patients on the nursing unit. This is a management role and candidates must be able to multitask administrative and clinical duties. Excellent time management and prioritization skills are required. This patient population is very diverse and includes bariatric, orthopedic and telemetry which makes this a great opportunity for nurses who are looking for a challenge and who would like to maintain sharp clinical skills. Previous experience with bariatric, orthopedic and telemetry patients is preferred. NYS RN License and Registration is a requirement as well as BLS and ACLS certifications. Previous management experience and BSN preferred.
