Clin Asst-Attend Neonat

Facility: Mercy Medical Center Location: Rockville Centre, NY Department: Neonatal Services Category: Physician / Mid-Level Practitioner Schedule: Full Time Shift: Day shift Hours: DAY SHIFT ReqNum: 6006652

As a key member of our Level III NICU, the successful candidate will coordinate care,while medically managing newborns born premature, critically ill, or in need of surgery.

Additional responsibilities include:

Diagnose and treat newborns with conditions such as breathing disorders, infections, and birth defects.

Provide care to the newborn at a cesarean or other delivery that involves medical problems in the mother or baby that may compromise the infant's health and require medical intervention in the delivery room.

Consult with obstetricians and pediatricians about conditions affecting newborn infants.

To qualify, you must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine and have an academic background in basic or clinical research.
