St. Francis Hospital is New York State's only specialty designated cardiac center and offers one of the leading cardiac care programs in the nation. In the past 10 years, over 111,000 cardiac catheterizations, 33,000 angioplasties, and 14,000 open-heart surgeries have been performed at St. Francis Hospital. St. Francis physicians performs one of the largest volumes of percutaneous coronary interventions.

Exciting opportunities await eligible candidates in our high volume state of the art Cardiac Catheterization Lab. We are seeking Cardiovascular Technologists to join our Cath Lab team. The successful candidate will assist Interventional Cardiologists in the performance of diagnostic and interventional cardiac, vascular and neurointerventional procedures, including hemodynamic monitoring. The Cardiovascular technologist will be cross-trained to perform a scrub technologist role to assist physicians during Cardiac Catheterization procedures.


Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology Program, Respiratory Therapy or Radiological program. RCIS preferred. A.A.S. or B.S. Required

Comprehensive orientation training program for qualified candidates, no Cath Lab experience required.
