Master's Degree in Nursing required, Doctorate degree preferred, National Nursing Certification as Nurse Executive, Nursing Professional Development Specialist or Nursing Informatics required

Skills:

Apply principles of education, appropriate domains of learning and ethical and legal issues in the directing the activities of the Nursing Education Department.

Assess, apply and direct the education process in alignment with the designed and appropriate delivery.

Implement orientation programs, inservice activities and continuing education for the nursing staff at all levels and all positions.

Design, implement and evaluate preceptor development program

Implement a successful competency management program that meet all regulatory requirements.

Monitor and evaluate clinical affiliation for nursing programs.

Experience of an LMS to apply, maintain and retrieved required documentation and record keeping.

Experience in Marketing and Management of Educational Activities

Apply current theories in change management

Experience in Informatics with knowledge in information security, clinical information systems, and knowledge based resources and basic Microsoft office skills.
