Respiratory Therapists are responsible for the safe, effective, timely, and documented performance of respiratory therapy and related tasks in accordance with the Hospital's Mission and according to physician orders, patient's needs, regulatory requirements, and departmental procedures. Works within an approved level of respiratory care services according to qualifications, demonstrated competency, and duly designated and authorizations. Seeks opportunities to improve care both for the individual patient & the institution.

Requirements:

Associates Degree and graduate of an AMA approved program in Respiratory or Cardio-Respiratory Therapy;

Current completions of BLS and ACLS programs.

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).

Current NYS RT License and active membership in the NBRC.
