RN Unit Manager

The RN Unit Manager's primary responsibility is to oversee the rendering of care, treatment, and services provided to patients/residents within their assigned unit(s).

Responsibilities will include:

Lead, educate and clinically assess for patients/residents and staff needs

Assess plan, implement and ensure appropriate staffing and allocating of nursing care related to patient resident acuity and care needs

Complete staff performance evaluations for staff. Oversee unit receptionist to ensure that all medical records are maintained according to state and federal guidelines.

Requirements:

Currently NYS licensed Registered Professional Nurse

Three years in clinical nursing and two years' experience in a skilled nursing facility.

Knowledge of safety and infection control policies.
