St. Catherine of Siena Medical Center, affiliated with Catholic Health Services of Long Island, is located in Smithtown, NY on a beautiful 110-acre campus that includes a 290-bed community hospital, a 240-bed nursing and rehabilitation facility, and a 60,000 sq ft medical office building. SCS is engaged with error reduction initiatives and on a journey to High Reliability. We have been recognized in superior care in stroke and sepsis patients and have also recently attained Center of Excellence in Bariatric Surgery and have also been designated as the only Baby Friendly hospital in Suffolk County.
We have an exciting opportunity for individuals committed to the delivery of high quality patient-focused care with a strong desire to work in a Critical Care/Emergency Medicine environment. This program is a ten-week full-time work commitment (without prescheduled vacation time) with a two year post-training employment guarantee at the hospital upon completion of program training.
BSN degree required or candidate actively pursuing Baccalaureate study
2-5 years Medical Surgical/Critical Care Experience
Flexibility in scheduling for classroom and didactic training
Cardiac Care Unit: Full Time; Nights
Intensive Care Unit: Full Time; Nights
Emergency Department: Full Time; Days & Nights
