Responsibilities will include:
Prepares daily meals to meet the nutritional needs of the individual.Cleans and washes equipment used in cooking and keeps own working area clean and sanitized.
Essential Functions:
1.Responsibilities include the preparation of soups, meats, gravies, vegetables, main dishes, desserts and snacks with emphasis
on appearance, taste and temperature to be served at a stated time.
2.Keeps logs on types and quantities of foods served.
3.Ensures foods are served according to the menu and modified to accommodate a sick individual.
4.Sweep and spot mop kitchen floor as needed. Maintains the cleanliness of the kitchen.
5.Works serving line during lunch and/or dinner.
6.Does major cleaning during respite.
7.Works during agency special events.May require additional hours beyond the regular schedule.
Requirements: High School Diploma/GED equivalent required.
