Director -Nutrition & Food Svcs

The Nutrition and Food Services Director is responsible for planning, organizing, delegating and directing all aspects of the department.The director develops and implements policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements.Assures appropriate staffing numbers and skills of staff and conducts themselves within the department and in collaboration with other departments in concert with the mission and values of Catholic Health Services of Long Island.The director is responsible for the departmental budgets and assures quality patient care and responsiveness to customer service is a high priority.


Baccalaureate degree in related field required.

Master's degree in business or related field a plus.

Active status with the CDR (AND) as a Registered Dietitian preferred.


Knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point required; must be flexible and able to work in stressful environment.Demonstrates the ability to engage staff in the work and exhibits a high degree of emotional intelligence.


At least 5 years of leadership experience in a clinical setting (healthcare/foodservice)
