Material Coordinator

Responsible for the daily receiving, stocking, storing and monitoring of all Storeroom stock for the operating room; maintains an accurate and orderly inventory; performs the required transactions to document the activities; serves as an informational source to the OR staff regarding materials and supplies, and acts as a liaison between the hospital's Storeroom and the Operating Room.

High School diploma or equivalent required. Prior operating room/hospital experience preferred. Must be able to work independently. Knowledge of infection control and safety required. Must have good communication and organizational skills. Basic computer skills and bar code scanner skills required. Previous warehouse/storeroom experience a plus. Must possess the ability to work under pressure.
