Nurse Manager - Delivery Room

Responsible for the patient care on his/her unit for a 24 hour period; ensures compliance to standards of care and practice by supervising personnel; plans and evaluates all care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her assigned unit; maintains operational aspects of the unit by participating in budget preparation and monitoring resources;attends required management meetings; participates on department committees and performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing required. Master's degree preferred. Current New York State License as a Registered Nurserequired. Leadership certification and demonstrated competence in recent leadership rolerequired. Resume must accompany application.

BLS/AED training required and accepted from only 2 organizations:

1. American Heart Association - BLS/ACLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) Program

2. American Red Cross - CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer
