POSITION SUMMARY:Increase new physician referrals and strengthen existing referrals for Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center through active marketing, education, physician dinners, presentations, and networking.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred
Skills: Knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, and Database; must be flexible and able to manage time and responsibilities.Needs ability to think analytically and strategize using provided data and other information.
Experience:Candidate must possess experience managing a group of individuals and show a track record of success in managing projects.
Physician Liaison will conduct effective physician office visits with measureable and time-framed goals. The purpose of these visits will be to:
Educate referring and new offices on services offered, new equipment
Maintain and strengthen current referral sources
Obtain referrals from non-referring offices thus increasing overall volume of referrals
Communicate opportunities, market trends, and issues to Director, Public Affairs & Marketing, in a timely manner and on a regular basis
Suggest initiatives to build volume and favorable perception among internal and external referral streams
Work collaboratively with Director, Public Affairs & Marketing, in developing and implementing outreach, relationship building, and marketing plans to meet goals
Routine analysis of competitors to ensure Good Samaritan is positioned to protect and grow market share
Effectively manage territory
Coordinate meetings between key physicians and neurologists, radiologists to improve communication and relationships in order to increase referrals
Call on targeted offices
Conduct "lunch and learns" in appropriate offices to educate staff and physicians on services
Maintain, update and refine marketing database for all offices, referring physicians and staff/ office contacts
Provide timely reports to Director, Public Affairs & Marketing, to accurately track referring office activity
Coordinate resolution of customer service issues between referring offices and Good Samaritan with assistance and approval of Director, Public Affairs & Marketing
Assist in community events as requested by Director (may require weekend work)
