The QM Project Assistant works with the VP, Director, Quality Coordinators and Analysts to assist in all projects related to all QM and Performance Improvement activities.
Responsibilities will include:
This position reports to the VP of Quality Management and works with the Director of Quality.
The position assists with various PI projects and completes activities related to all Accreditation, Registry and Performance Improvement activities.
Coordinate the Performance Improvement Committee (PIC), the Performance Improvement Management Group (PIMG), Ambulatory Performance Improvement Committee (APIC), 5 Star Committee, Patient Family Advisory Counsel and Policy Steering meetings, including preparation of agenda, meeting minutes and coordinates presenters and special attendees, handouts, and any audio/visual requirements.
Maintains Clinical Contract and performance improvement associated data along with updating the quarterly dashboard.
Assist with QM department budget preparation and mid-year review; create and monitor purchase orders and annual expenses related to registries and performance improvement programs.
Participates in The Joint Commission (TJC) Survey readiness activities, including PI survey updating and monitoring TJC Accreditation Manager Plus (AMP) software.Assists with presentations on quality performance activities and Joint Commission preparedness activities.
The position accurately answers and records incoming calls to the department and performs other related duties and tasks as assigned or required.
Requirements:
Associates Degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
Above average skills in Word, and Outlook, good skills in PowerPoint and Excel. Willingness to learn additional software as needed
Superb written and oral communication skills
Ability to exercise independent judgment and manage multiple, simultaneous priorities
Is resourceful, flexible and demonstrates critical thinking abilities in meeting the varying needs of the QM department.
Excellent interpersonal skills for day to day interaction with QM staff and all levels of management. Excellent follow-up and follow through skills
5+ years' experience as an executive assistant or similar role preferred.
