A Physician Practice receptionist is responsible for basic clerical tasks such as answering phones, greeting patients and visitors, and scheduling appointments in a professional and timely manner.
Responsible for receiving visitors
Answering all telephone calls and scheduling appointments
Prepares required documents for daily schedules and performs various clerical duties as assigned
High School diploma or equivalent
1 year clerical experience preferred
Computer proficiency and strong telephone and communication skills
Must have the ability to multitask and have excellent record keeping skills
Typing 30 WPM required. Alpha Numeric-5000 Keystrokes per hour A computer/typing test will be administered to all applicants.
