The Ultrasound Technologist performs ultrasound examinations on in and out-patients, confers with and reports completed test results with the Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician.
Confers with and reports completed test results with Maternal Fetal Medicine physician.
Obtains and records complete histories from charts/patients.
Communicates ultrasound procedures, concepts, and technical instructions, etc. to patients prior to examination.
Has responsibility for meeting State and Federal standards of Quality Assurance.
Performs ultrasound examinations above and beyond the recommended guidelines set by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine.
Responsible for use of and preventative maintenance for equipment
Graduate of and Accredited Ultrasound Technology School.
Registered with ARDMS (or registry eligible within one year of hire) in OB/GYN.
Certified in First Trimester Nuchal Translucency.
Sonographer must have experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine
