We support each other professionally and personally. I have made so many lifelong friends throughout the entire hospital. It is very common to see employees socializing outside of the workplace, and people from different departments gathering together for celebrations. Many employees even plan vacations together. And it doesn't end when you retire from the hospital or leave to move on to new endeavors. We all keep in touch with each other. "I began as a staff RT at Mercy Hospital in July of 2001. After 20 years at Mercy, I transferred to an Outpatient/Ambulatory CHPP Pulmonary Office (Nassau Chest Physicians) and have been performing Pulmonary Function Testing.
