A Message from our Chief Nursing Officer
I am truly blessed to lead the nursing division of Catholic Health. I have been a part of this amazing group of caregivers for more than 20 years and have had the privilege to work in 3 of our hospitals over the course of my nursing career. Although each facility is unique in its’ own way, we are all committed to the mission and vision of Catholic Health.
We are committed to providing personalized orientation and residency programs in many of our clinical areas. There are so many opportunities in all clinical areas and we will support your career advancement through excellent tuition reimbursement and mentorship programs. The nursing teams at Catholic Health work incredibly hard each and every day to provide the best clinical care and experience we can to the patients and their loved ones. We look forward to have you join us!

Hear From Our Nursing Team
"There was a patient who came to our unit unable to speak, walk or communicate their needs. This patient spent months with us while they were healing. I recall the feeling on the day the patient was discharged. They were able to speak, and stand tall and proud. The whole unit gathered around their room and cheered as they stood up to stay goodbye to us. We had tears in our eyes because we could see how far this patient had come from when they first came to us. It was amazing to see the difference and know that I was a part of a team that helped heal and take part in such an amazing recovery."

"Everyone I worked with from nursing staff, respiratory therapists, lab to pharmacy, allowed me to grow and learn. The amount of support I received from my coworkers was incredible. Starting as a new nurse during the pandemic, feeling supported was greatly needed to be successful. My unit manager offered an immense amount of support throughout my journey. She would always check in on me and ask if I needed help. Being a part of a small, close-knit community, our hospital allows for a more a direct impact on patient care."

"I've wanted to be a nurse since I was 5 years old and hospice is exactly where I'm supposed to be. People always call it a calling to be a hospice nurse and I agree. The case load is not easy and the work is hard but the reward ultimately is the care and comfort I'm able to provide to my patients on their final journey and the reassurance, empathy and education I can provide to their families as they care for them. I came across a quote that fits me perfectly: 'You are built to handle the pressure that comes with your calling.'"
