St. Francis Hospital & Heart Center®, located in Roslyn, NY, is New York State’s only specialty designated cardiac center, offering one of the leading cardiac care programs in the nation. St. Francis is recognized as an innovator in the delivery of specialized cardiovascular services, in an environment where excellence and compassion are emphasized. Our ANCC Magnet® designated hospital has been given an 'A' from the Leapfrog Group for the 22nd time, which is the top grade for patient safety. We are also the first hospital on Long Island to receive a five-star rating from The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services for consistently high patient satisfaction scores.
Good Samaritan University Hospital, located in West Islip, NY, has the only Level I Trauma Center for Adults, Level II Trauma Center for Pediatrics and Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) on the South Shore of Long Island. Good Samaritan is also the only hospital in Suffolk county to earn the ANCC Magnet® Recognition for nursing excellence, which is held by less than nine percent of hospitals nationwide. Mercy Hospital, located in Rockville Centre, NY, is a 375-bed hospital that offers a NYS designated Stroke Center, Breast Imaging Center of Excellence, Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and has received the Pathway to Excellence Designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Additionally, Mercy is the first hospital in NYS to receive The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Sepsis Care. In 2020, Catholic Health expanded its oncology services by opening of The Cancer Institute at Mercy Hospital and brought its award-winning St. Francis Heart Center cardiovascular program to the hospital with a new cardiac catheterization lab.
St. Joseph Hospital, located in Bethpage, NY, is a 203-bed community hospital that provides comprehensive inpatient, outpatient, critical care, emergency and surgical services. St. Joseph holds the Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval, signifying full accreditation by the nation’s predominant standards-setting body in health care. Amongst many quality achievements, St. Joseph is also recognized by the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association for the GOLD quality achievements for both Stroke and AFIB. In fact, St. Joseph was the first hospital on Long Island to earn the AFIB GOLD Quality Achievement Award. Vital services include The Center for Sleep Medicine, Hyperbaric and Wound Healing Center, The Center for Speech and Swallowing Disorders, a Diabetes Education Center and a full scope of outpatient radiology services. The Catholic Health Cancer Institute opened in 2017, and in 2022, Catholic Health expanded its award-winning St. Francis Heart Center cardiovascular program to the hospital with a new cardiac catheterization lab.
St. Charles Hospital, located in Port Jefferson, NY, is a 243-bed acute care hospital that has served the residents of the Three Village area for over 115 years. We are Long Island's leader in physical therapy and rehabilitation and the only Long Island hospital accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) for comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation and outpatient rehabilitation for adults and children. St. Charles also offers services in general surgery and surgical sub-specialties such as colon/rectal, urology, bariatric, neurosurgery, gynecologic oncology, female pelvic floor disorders and ear, nose and throat. The hospital’s subspecialty care services include cardiology, pulmonary, gastroenterology, infectious diseases, nephrology, neurology, epilepsy and stroke care.
St. Catherine of Siena Hospital, located in Smithtown, NY, is a 296-bed acute care hospital that has served the residents of Smithtown for more than 50 years. We offer services in general surgery and surgical subspecialties such as colorectal, urology, bariatric, orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery and gynecologic oncology. We also offer emergency medicine services and acute inpatient adult medical care. Our subspecialty care services include cardiology, stroke, infectious diseases, gastroenterology, wound care and nephrology. In addition, St. Catherine of Siena Hospital now has the St. Francis Heart Center, allowing residents of the Smithtown area to have the same St. Francis cardiovascular care closer to home.

Patients who need home health services are in the caring and capable hands of expertly skilled Nurses, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Medical Social Workers and more. In addition, we are proud to also provide specialty services, including but not limited to, behavioral health services, pediatric care, and telehealth services. Good Shepherd Hospice delivers hospice and palliative care services in all home settings and has two state of the art inpatient unit facilities that deliver advanced clinical care in a home-like setting.
