Job Title: Advanced Practice Provider

Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) – Cardiology
Location: Rockville Centre, New York
Job Type: Full-Time 

Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing Cardiology practice in Rockville Centre, NY. You will work in close collaboration with Dr. Thierry Duchatellier, a board-certified cardiologist with more than 20 years of experience and affiliations with Mercy Hospital–Rockville Centre and St. Catherine of Siena Hospital.

 

This is a unique opportunity to work alongside a physician who is highly respected by both peers and patients and who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, hypertension, and heart rhythm disorders.

 

About Dr. Thierry Duchatellier:
Dr. Duchatellier is a distinguished cardiologist with over two decades of clinical experience. He earned his medical degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra and is recognized for his expertise in treating complex cardiovascular conditions. Patients consistently praise him for his compassionate care and thorough approach. Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Perform cardiac assessments, monitor chronic cardiovascular conditions, and manage follow-up care

  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests

  • Provide patient education regarding prevention, lifestyle changes, and treatment plans

  • Collaborate with Dr. Duchatellier and other care team members to optimize patient outcomes

  • Document clinical findings and maintain thorough, timely medical records using EMR (EPIC experience preferred)

Qualifications:

  • Licensed and certified as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of New York

  • National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)

  • Cardiology experience preferred but not required; strong interest in cardiovascular care is essential

  • Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

  • DEA certification or eligibility

Salary Range

USD $69.54 - USD $90.00 /Hr.
